Educator

Jan draws on a diverse range of tools, practical skills and techniques that can significantly enhance participant’s personal and professional performance. She is passionate about the creation of learning environments where assumptions are challenged and participants are given an opportunity to take new risks, try on new roles and test new terrains with no danger or cost. This then fosters environments where others are encouraged to take on something outside of their comfort zone. Learning however is always conducted in a safe environment that encourages confidence and consolidates skills.

Creative

Jan draws on her background in early childhood education, acting, drama and laughter-yoga to incorporate elements of play and playfulness in her learning environments. Jan has developed a focus on using play as a medium for adult learning – Play Perspectives. Participants are given opportunity to create, observe, experiment, think, communicate, question and interact to become more open to the experience and creative whilst participating in it.

Creativity, intuition and flexibility are key to successful operation of organisations today and play can provide this medium for learning. Jan recognises the importance of providing stimulating environments where participants enjoy their learning experiences.
